From Wednesday October 30th- Wednesday November 6th the Ridgefield VFD along with the RFD and State DEEP fought a difficult brush fire on Pine Mountain. Over the week long fight, units operating included Rescue 7, Tanker 10, Tanker 12, Engine 3, Car 3, Car 4, the ATV, and Fire Police.
Thank you to the members from Mill Plain Fire Department (Danbury) and the State DEEP for assisting in the efforts to extinguish the fire. The Fire ended up burning approximately 30 acres.
